Who it’s for
Managed support suits businesses with roughly 5 to 100 staff that don’t have an IT department, or whose in-house person needs back-up.
If your IT currently depends on whoever is good with computers, or on an IT company that is slow to respond, managed support gives you one team that knows your setup and is accountable for keeping it running.
How it works
1. Free consultation
We review your current IT with you and explain what managed support would cover.
2. IT health check
You complete our onboarding questionnaire and, with your agreement, we audit your computers with our monitoring software.
3. Onboarding
We fix the urgent issues first, set up monitoring, document your systems and show your team how to get help.
4. Ongoing support
Your staff contact us when they need help, while we keep devices updated, secure and backed up in the background.
How pricing works
Every business is different, so we agree a fixed price after a free consultation, once we understand your systems and what you need. No surprises.
What our clients say
We signed with Computer Medic after our existing IT services let us down and gave us slow response times. 2 years later we have yet to have any problems and I can get a speedy response to any questions.

Common questions
What’s the difference between managed IT and pay-as-you-go support?
Pay-as-you-go means calling someone when something breaks. Managed support means we look after your systems continuously, keeping them updated, monitored and documented, so fewer things break in the first place and we already know your setup when they do.
Do you offer on-site support?
Yes. We fix most problems remotely straight away, and visit your office across Suffolk and North Essex when hands-on work is needed.
Can you work alongside our in-house IT person?
Yes. We can take on day-to-day support, cover holidays and absences, or handle specialist work such as Microsoft 365, security and backup while your in-house person focuses on the rest.
What happens at the free consultation?
We review your current IT systems with you and explain what onboarding with Computer Medic would look like. There’s no cost and no obligation.
What are your support hours?
We’re available 9am–5pm, seven days a week, with out-of-hours help for emergencies.
How much does it cost?
We agree a fixed price after the free consultation, once we understand your systems and what you need.
