We use several tools to access and manage your Apple devices. One of these tools is called Splashtop and allows us to view the screen and control the mouse / keyboard for you.
This process requires you to add permissions for the application, As a security measure from Apple we cannot automatically grant these permissions and so you will need to manually add them using the simple process below.
Administrator Permissions
If your current account is not an administrator (if your example your company is Cyber Security Essentials Protected).
You will first need to elevate your account, If you are one of our customers you can do this using the tools we provide you on the desktop.
From the bottom bar open the link with your Company Icon and select Admin, Enter the reason you require permission in this case “to add screen recording” and press request.
Wait about 30 seconds and then continue with the instructions as below, When making the changes below if prompted enter your user password for the MacOS you should be an administrator for approx. 5 minutes
Step 1 - Open System Preferences
Click the Apple Icon in the top left of the screen and select System Preferences.
Step 2 - Select Privacy and Security
From the Menu on the left select “Privacy and Security”
Step 3 - Accessibility
Select Accessibility and turn the toggle on for Splashtop Streamer

Step 4 - Full Disk Access
Press the back arrow at the top of the screen then select Full Disk Access and turn the toggle on for Splashtop Streamer

Step 5 - Screen Recording
Press the back arrow at the top of the screen then select Screen Recording and turn the toggle on for Splashtop Streamer and SyncroMSP

Finished
This should now provide us with access to the computer
