Motherboard 4 pin + 8 pin power CPU

Modern Gaming motherboards often have a 4 pin and a 8 pin connector, the instructions with most motherboards leave alot to be desired. In this case you should use the 8 pin and only need to attach the additional 4 pin if you are intending to overclock. Basic overclocking will be supported with the 8 pin, but extreme overclocking requires the additional 4 pin
